Final
1. The art criticism process is a four step process. First you have to describe what you see in the art piece. Then you have to analyze the piece by what the artist used in the piece. Like the color, shapes, texture, and etc. Next you interpret the piece; what is the artist is trying to say through their art piece. Final you have to judge the art piece. Do you think it’s art. 2. You see in this art piece it is in a forest. But it focuses on a waterfall. In the piece the colors are muted and dull. Also everything is flat and it feels two-dimensional. The piece is trying to communicate nature is all around us and it comes in so many different shapes and forms. The piece does look realistic, but the technique needs more practice. 1. Art is expression of human creative and imagination. Art is letting your creative out on a sheet of paper. Art is expressed through many different types of mediums and styles. Like painting, coloring, drawing, and watercolor. 9. Illustration Fridays have helped my skill level improve. Because practicing the techniques we learned is the only way to improve them. Also the illustration fridays were so vague and you could interpret in so many ways. They help you will you creative and shows you what you could do next for another art piece. 17. The most helpful warm-up was my mixing warm-up. Because it helped with painting and watercolor. Also it helped me with knowing what colors make other colors. And knowing how to lighten and darken colors. |
